Style decode of Janmashtami 2017

Recently I celebrated Janmashtami, it's one of the festivals we celebrate grandly.
So I visited Krishna temple and wore an ethnic lehenga for the occasion.
Here in this blog, I will decode my style for Janmashtami.

Starting from the top I left my hair open because it frames my face better. For makeup, I wore typical Indian makeup with golden eyes and bright pink lips.I also added a pink color bindi to bring out the ethnicity of the outfit even more.

For the lehenga, I wore a multi color skirt with a hint of green, red in it and yellow color which is more prominent in the skirt.

Red, yellow, green are mostly used colors in desi wear outfits. The skirt is ankle length and is very flowy.

I didn't like the blouse which came with this lehenga so I wore a back gold blouse which I already had.The blouse has symmetric patterns all over in the color gold and also had zik-zak and tie up patter in the back.

The skirt also has some golden detailing in it.The dupatta came with lehenga itself which is red all over with a yellow border in it.The dupatta also has yellow flowers on it.I totally love this outfit.

For the accessories, I paired some multi color earrings, black and gold bangles and a silver anklet.I did not wear any footwear as I visited a temple.I also added a gold ring in my finger.

So, this was my style decode for Janamastami 2017, subscribe to my blog for more such style decode.

Boho chic and Indo-western combined outfit look

As you guys know that boho chic and Indo-western styles are one of my personal favorite styles.
So in today's blog, I will combine both of my favorite styles and show you guys an outfit recreation.

For me boho means out of the box yet stylish and as I have worn a saree in a western way so its Indo-western too.My favorite part about this look is my hair. For my hair, I have tied it in a half up half down bun which is so trending right now.Wearing a bun hairstyle in our hair while wearing a saree is quite usual so to add a boho chic and western touch I wore this hairstyle.

For the saree I wore a dhoti style saree which I have done a video on how to wear it.
Link to the video-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmq3j__UeUQ&t=180s
It's very easy once you know it.I took an edgy saree which has a border and some prints in the bottom. The color of the prints is silver. The combination of pink, black, gold on the border and silver looks very stunning.

For the blouse, I wore a full sleeve choli style blouse which is skin tight and stretchable.I did not wear a typical bouse because I wanted it to look boho chic and Indo-western.This saree is perfect for any Indian function or dance performance because it looks very stunning and is very comfy too.
I added a white gold mules as my footwear to go with the style.

I wore a pink bindi some oxidized pair of earrings and a gold finger ring.I added some anklets and also rocked a black nail polish. For my makeup, I did typical Indian makeup with bold eyes and dark lips.

So I hope you girls will rock this look in sangeet and mehendi functions.

Indo-western style for daily wear

Do you want to style Indo-western outfit for a casual day?
Want to know how?
C'mon let me show you.
Here in Today's blog post, I will be sharing how to style an Indo-western outfit for college and a casual outing.

On this day I went to a mall to shop and just hang out.You know Indo-western boho style is my personal perfect when it comes to fashion. So, starting with the outfit I wore a vibrant color ethnic jacket which has purple, orange and red color symmetrical patterns and has a tie up detailing in the front. The backside of the jacket is of bright neon green color.

The jacket is sleeveless and is of synthetic material. To tone down the jacket I wore a light blue color crop top, the jacket is also cropped same as the length of the top.The top speaks summer to me because of its style, color and detailing. This blue color of the top is one my favorite color. It has coconut trees on it in the color white which so reminds me of summer, beaches, and vacation.

Seeing this top I so want to go a beach summer vacation. To bring out the whole outfit together I added a black palazzo. The Palazzo is loose fitted and flowy perfect for daily wear. The length of the palazzo is very trendy neither ankle length or knee length. It is a synthetic material with black and gray stripes on it.When I bought this, this palazzo was love at first sight.

For footwear, I wore my rainy sandals which are white gold mules.I wore silver anklets in both of my legs. For my hair, I tied it in a half up half down style leaving some bangs out to frame my face.I wore a white color watch too, all my accessories are on the neutral side as the jacket speaks so much.

I wore a printed half nude and half vibrant bag pack to balance out the whole Indo-western situation.
The is a perfect match for the outfit as it is neither to vibrant nor too neutral and it is perfect for a casual day to stuff all the things in it.

My makeup is very natural with bold kajal and a bold lipstick. This is my go to everyday makeup look if you want to know how I created this and that too in just 5 mins then do check out my youtube channel.

Punjaban style decode

For a style decode of a Punjaban, you will need a Patiala suit and that too bright in color and you are good to go.
In today's blog, I have shown the style decode of a Punjaban.

It's very easy to look a Punjaban because all you need is a bright Patiala suit and this is available in each and every Indian girl's wardrobe.I kept the outfit subtle as well because to make it pretty wearable.I tied my hair in a loose ponytail on the side letting my fringes out.I wore a plain white kurta which has mesh detailing in the bottom. This is a tailor made kurta with a boat neck and half sleeves.

This kurta is very simple and elegant perfect to balance out the whole outfit. The star of the show is the bright pink salwar which again has mesh detailing at the bottom to match the mesh in the kurta. The length of the salwar is perfect and it's a semi Patiala style.I personally feel that full on Patiala doesn't cater to my style so I like this length in my salwar.

For the footwear, I wore some nude color sandals.I paired a golden color Kangan, golden color earrings and a gold ring.As you guys know that Punjabis love their golden detailing in their outfits, so I wore all golden color accessories. To Tame down the outfit, I wore nude color footwear.I added a bright pink lipstick to match the pink in  the salwar and Punjabis love  their  pinks and reds.

You can easily wear this outfit for college, office and for a nice occasion too.Do subscribe to my blog for more such outfit inspirations.
